Walking Tours

This is a 3-hour tour for those who like to walk and go deeper into the secrets of Rome. You’ll stroll around Rome with one of our guides and you’ll see that each street corner has a story to tell. As always, the itinerary is open, and you can choose where to go and what to see. We recommend the usual Trevi-Navona-Pantheon to first timers for these are the places they shouldn’t miss, however, walking from one of these places to the other, you’ll discover a lot of other interesting sites which your guide will bring to your attention focusing on your personal interests. If this isn’t your first trip to Rome and you’ve seen its highlights already, we’ll take you to see the sites that would be difficult for you to find or focus on a theme, concentrating on Caravaggio’s paintings, Bernini’s works or any other subject of your choice.

Off The Beaten Path

To those who have visited Rome before and are familiar with its highlights, we would like to present a different aspect of the city and take you to see some things that not even the Romans themselves have seen.
Of course the itinerary can be customized, but to give you an idea of the hidden gems you can see walking around Rome for three hours, we present a few itineraries hereunder.

piazza navona

Baroque Rome

Based on the rivalry between the two most prominent figures of the Baroque Era, Bernini and Borromini, this stroll around Rome will take you to see their works as sculptors, mostly housed in churches, and the building they designed as architects which practically set Rome’s layout in the 1600’s. The greatest example of how their rivalry influenced Rome’s layout is surely Piazza Navona, where Bernini did the Fountain of the Four Rivers and Borromini did the façade of the Church of St. Agnes which is one of Rome’s highlights and which you’re surely familiar with if you visited Rome before.  But apart  from that, there are a lot of other works which normally tourists don’t get to see like the tomb of Giovanni Vigevano and the Memorial to Maria Raggi by Bernini in the Church of Santa Maria Sopra Minerva or the Church of Sant’Ivo alla Sapienza designed by Borromini.

piazza di spagna

Rome’s Highlights

This is the tour for first timers, so it covers the must-see sights which are basically the Fountain of Trevi, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and the so called “Spanish Steps”. The sites will not necessarily come in this order, it’ll depend on where the tour will start from which depends on where you’ll be staying. In other words, if you’ll be staying in a hotel in the city we’ll come to meet you at your place and the tour will start from there, otherwise we’ll have to decide with you which the most convenient starting point could be.
